WHAT TO EXPECT AT CARNIVAL

There will be food, games, rides, themed baskets, and other items being auctioned! We will have special performances by our Modern Band, PES cheerleaders, & a surprise performance all alongside a DJ to keep the party going!

Carnival is a cashless event! Cash and credit card will be accepted at the event to purchase tickets. All rides, games, food, and drinks must be purchased with tickets (or wristbands for rides only). If you did not purchase tickets during the pre-sale and plan on purchasing at carnival, you may do so at the Ticket tent.

You may park along the streets on 102nd, 104th, or 57th Avenue. All NO PARKING signage will be covered and will NOT be enforced.

The PTA has rented the parking lot at Pinecrest Presbyterian Church, located on the corner of 104th Street and 57th Avenue. Please be mindful not to block our neighbors' driveways.

Entrance to Carnival will be through the 104th Street Gate.

TICKET INFORMATION

Pre-Purchase Tickets Online:

For those who pre-purchase admission wristbands and other items online, tickets will be available to pick up February 2nd through February 6th from 7:45am - 8:45am and 1:30pm - 3:30pm at the tent in front of the school on 57th Avenue. A few important notes about this pickup event:

The event is walk up only - please do not go through the carpool line.
It is your responsibility to review the items in your envelope to ensure accuracy. You will be required to sign off that you received all items.
Children cannot pick up on behalf of their parents. Adults are able to pick up on behalf of another parent if the correct name of the purchaser is provided and the envelope is reviewed for accuracy and signed off as being picked up.
If you do not pick up your wristbands and other items at one of the dates/times reflected above, you may pick them up at the Will Call booth under the Main tent at Carnival.

Pre-Purchase Tickets In Person 2/2/2026 - 2/6/2026:

Tickets may be purchased in person at the tent in front of school on 57th Avenue from February 2nd through February 6th 7:45am - 8:45am & 1:30pm - 3:30pm.

Purchase Tickets at the Event:

Tickets may be purchased the day of Carnival at the Ticket Sales Booth under the Main Tent.

Pre-purchased tickets may be picked up at the Will Call Booth under the Main Tent at Carnival.

CARNIVAL 101 & IMPORTANT REMINDERS

No balls, playground equipment, coolers, outside food or drink, or alcohol are allowed at the event.
No pets are permitted on the school grounds per M-DCPS policy.
All attendees must stay within the designated perimeter set up for the event.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times - no drop offs!
This event is intended for current Pinecrest Elementary students, their families, friends, as well as community members.
This event is being run by volunteers who have committed their time to the school for free. Volunteers will be wearing a volunteer lanyard and are available to assist you during the event. Please treat them with respect at all times.
Those in violation of these rules may be asked to leave the event.
