"Welcome Mates" helps to pair new families with a mentor from an experienced Pinecrest Elementary School family in an effort to ease the transition into the school. While this program generally begins each Fall, we are happy to match families throughout the year. In an effort to support new families in the transition to Pinecrest Elementary School, the PTA sponsors a presentation covering a wide range of topics - from attendance and uniforms to administration and the portal. Our goal is to provide parents with the information they need and answer questions that may arise during their first months at the school.

From grade specific "play dates" for our younger Parrots to our schoolwide "play dates" for all grade levels, Pinecrest Elementary has something for everyone! We work hard to ensure that all of our kiddos and their families meet others so that they feel connected to our PES community.

PTA Playdate for Pre-K and Kindergarten will be held 8/12 directly after orientations.
